Expectancy's consultants in southeast London and Kent offer a private maternity complementary therapies clinic at the new Maidstone Birthing Centre in the grounds of Maidstone Hospital. All our consultants are midwives, trained in the use of complementary therapies through Expectancy.
We offer such services as:
- "Morning sickness" support
- Pregnancy massage, aromatherapy & reflexology
- Complementary therapies for specific aches and pains in pregnancy, eg. Backache, sciatica, pubic pain
- Moxibustion & other alternatives if your baby is breech
- Reflexology & other techniques if you are "overdue"
- Preparation for labour - One-to-One & small group sessions
- Clinical hypnosis preparation for birth - One-to-One & small group sessions
- Advice on safety & use of complementary therapies in pregnancy & childbirth
- Additional antenatal & postnatal care & support to enhance that provided by your midwife
