Expectancy is developing a Register of approved practitioners who have appropriate qualifications and
expertise to provide complementary therapies for expectant, labouring and newly-delivered mothers.
Expectancy runs university-approved courses for midwives and doctors and for complementary therapists
to prepare them to join the Register. Expectancy ™ - registered practitioners are either practising midwives
and doctors with additional qualifications in one or more complementary therapies, or experienced
complementary practitioners who have undertaken additional training and gained specific experience
of treating women during pregnancy, labour and/or the early days following the birth.
